David Virtue, author, journalist and founder of the biblically orthodox news service that bears his name, was guest speaker at a SEWAAC General Meeting held in Oconomowoc, WI on October 13, 2012. At the meeting, the affable and oftentimes provocative journalist spoke without notes for over an hour about the recent Convention of the Episcopal Church and then challenged listeners to consider the effects on the actions taken as well as the upcoming choices proposed for the Archbishop of Canterbury. He reviewed all the candidates to be considered for the leader of the Anglican Communion as well as possible future turmoil within the Communion, should the candidate chosen prove unacceptable to Southern Cone primates.

Virtue is a world traveler who attends every major meeting of the Anglican Communion in order to report back the who, when, and why information needed by Anglican laity and clergy members. He has spoken on numerous occasions to SEWAAC audiences, and, during the TEC Convention in Indianapolis, his wesite, VirtueOnline.org, surpassed the Episcopal News Service in page views by more than 67,000 occurances, with readership originating from 150 countries on 6 continests. A staff of five-3 onsite and 2 offsite, covered the proceedings.
